The GAA is a community based volunteer organisation promoting Gaelic games, culture and lifelong participation. With over 500 members, Baltinglass GAA Club has a huge positive impact on the local community.

We currently have 19 different squads to cater for almost 300 Juvenile players and over 100 Adult players. That takes in excess of 80 coaches plus a huge volume of other unseen work in the background to keep our club operating to the highest level.

All of this work is done by volunteers who are the most valuable asset of any club. Volunteering is about giving your time to partake in activities that benefit others but the most important thing to remember is that people should have fun and enjoy their role as a volunteer.

There are lots of areas where you could contribute in lots of different ways.

You don't need to have a background in GAA, or know even the first thing about football. We will provide any training or support to get you up and running.
